The PET bottle manufacturer Constar from Zevenaar was taken over mid-2014. Constar manufactures PET bottles and semi-finished products for soft drinks, mineral water, dairy products, beer and wine. The company ended up in a suspension of payment situation in mid-May after the Constar International parent company in the United States announced its intention to get rid of the European site at the end of last year. Constar Plastics will now be repositioning itself within the market, supported by the UTB Group’s expertise and experience. The emphasis will thereby be on the development and marketing of new products.
